Booking my boudoir shoot with Emily was instantly nerve wracking for me. I've never been very confident or comfortable in front of the camera and tend to feel more awkward than sexy to say the least. Deep down I knew this would be the ultimate gift for my Husband-to-be that he would never expect so I showed up! As soon as I met Emily I immediately felt at ease. It was like chatting with a friend I've known for a long time. She was so sweet and excited, it gave me the confidence boost I needed to feel comfortable. When we started she dedicated so much time into getting many unique shots in different lighting, scenes, moods etc. I ended up feeling so empowered and confident that I just let her guide me into pose after pose letting go and truly enjoying myself! When I got my proofs I was amazed at how beautiful they were! I couldn't wait to give that beautifully leather bound book to my new husband and he was stunned in the best way possible. Now it's something he'll cherish forever and I'm so proud of myself for pushing out of my comfort zone. Thank you so much Emily! Your such a wonderful person and photographer! I truly hope to work with you in the future.
